E-Commerce Fulfillment

E-commerce fulfillment from the same inventory that serves your stores

Retail and direct-to-consumer orders picked from one pool, on one system, with one count — so the channel that is selling is never the channel waiting on stock.

Most brands end up with e-commerce inventory in one building and retail inventory in another, and spend the peak season moving stock between them. Regal fulfills both channels from the same pool in the same facility. A unit is available to whichever order needs it, the count is a single number, and the decision about which channel gets constrained inventory becomes a business decision rather than a warehouse accident.

What the service covers

From order capture to the doorstep

01

Order integration

Orders arrive from your storefront, marketplace, ERP or retail EDI feed through RegalLink and drop straight into the fulfillment queue. Channel-specific rules — carrier selection, packaging, insert requirements, gift options — are configured once and applied automatically.

  • Shopping cart and marketplace connections
  • ERP and OMS integration by EDI or API
  • Retail EDI orders alongside DTC in one queue
  • Channel-specific packing and carrier rules

02

Pick, pack and ship

Single-line, multi-line and batch picking against the same inventory that serves pallet and case outbound. Packing is configured to the brand’s presentation standard, not to a generic default.

  • Single-item, multi-item and batch order picking
  • Branded packaging, inserts and gift messaging
  • Kitting and bundle assembly at time of order
  • Serial, lot and date-code capture at pack
03

Parcel rate shopping

Every parcel is rated across available carriers and services at the moment of shipment rather than assigned to a default carrier. On high-volume DTC programs the difference between a rate-shopped and a default-routed parcel is the largest single controllable cost in the operation.

  • Multi-carrier rating at time of shipment
  • Zone-skipping and regional carrier options
  • Service-level selection against the delivery promise
  • Tracking and delivery events returned to your systems

Returns processing

Returns are received, inspected, dispositioned and either restocked, refurbished or scrapped against rules you set. Restocked units re-enter the same pool and become available to both channels immediately.

  • Receipt, inspection and disposition to your rules
  • Restock, refurbish, liquidate or scrap
  • Return reason capture and reporting
  • Credit-trigger files back to your system
05

Peak scaling

Fourth-quarter DTC volume is a labor problem before it is a space problem. Regal staffs peak against a plan built in advance from your forecast, across three facilities, rather than improvising in November.

  • Forecast-based peak labor planning
  • Multi-site capacity across both coasts
  • Extended and additional shift coverage
  • Carrier capacity secured ahead of the season

Common questions

Can you fulfill retail and DTC orders from the same inventory?

Yes. That is the core of the service. Both channels pick from a single pool in the same facility, so there is one count and no inter-channel transfers.

Which sales channels can you integrate with?

Storefront platforms, marketplaces, ERP and OMS systems by EDI or API, alongside retail EDI order feeds. Integration is handled through RegalLink.

Do you handle returns?

Yes. Returns are received, inspected and dispositioned against your rules, with restocked units returning to the shared inventory pool.

How do you control parcel cost?

Every parcel is rate-shopped across carriers and services at the point of shipment rather than defaulting to a single carrier, using RegalShip+.

Can you fulfill from both coasts?

Yes. Fife, Washington and Anaheim, California cover the West; Charleston, South Carolina covers the East. Splitting inventory across hubs shortens transit and reduces zone cost on DTC parcels.
