Regal Logistics brings new business to Southern CA ports

Orange County, CA – Regal Logistics announced today that RIDEMAKERZ — a company that inspires kids to build their own one-of-a-kind toy cars—will use its new Garden Grove Distribution Center (DC) to import and distribute toys to its Anaheim store beginning in March.

Containers full of RIDEMAKERZ product are moving through the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles on their way to Regal’s new facility located at 12101 Western Avenue. From there Regal will distribute the toys to RIDEMAKERZ’ Anaheim location to satisfy the growing demand for this unique “build your own” toy cars experience and establish a more direct distribution route.

“RIDEMAKERZ anticipates new transit savings by importing product from our China factories into Regal’s Orange County DC for distribution to our Anaheim store. We moved all our warehousing and fulfillment operations for our Southern California store to Regal’s new facility,” says Rich Rooney, RIDEMAKERZ’ Director of Sales and Operations Planning. “We’ll continue to use Regal’s Seattle Distribution Center for wholesale business, and its Charleston facility for retail business supporting our stores in Orlando, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Branson, Missouri.”

RIDEMAKERZ will use all Regal Logistics’ warehousing, distribution, transportation and value added services for the receiving, handling and distribution of its product, including critical information technologies necessary for retailer-compliant shipments, such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), real time inventory tracking dashboard and bar coding.
